Don Orson Bucklin was named after Orson Bucklin. Orson Bucklin received a patent in 1901 for a rope braiding system. Don was able to buy a rope braiding machine on
Ebay that is from the original Bucklin manufacturing plant.
The Bucklin family history of engineers, builders, and business leaders reach back to the start of the American experience.
Don has researched his family heritage and found his family involved in building the history of America. The Bucklin namesake has been found as original students of Harvard University.
